With less than 6 net carbs per serving, it’s one of those healthy dinner ideas that’s both low-carb and keto-friendly, making it perfect for busy weekdays when time is limited.

From start to finish, the entire meal is ready in under 20 minutes. Once the sausage and vegetables are added to the air fryer, the cooking process is largely hands-off, giving you extra time to tackle other tasks before dinner is on the table.
The air fryer creates a lightly crisp exterior on the sausage while keeping the vegetables tender and flavorful. Unlike cooking everything in a skillet, there’s no need for constant stirring—just a quick toss halfway through cooking helps everything cook evenly.
This recipe is also an excellent option for meal prep. Slicing the sausage and vegetables ahead of time makes weeknight cooking even easier, and the recipe can easily be doubled to provide leftovers for lunches or additional dinners later in the week.

Using an air fryer is an efficient way to prepare this type of meal while reducing the need for excess oil. Compared to traditional deep frying, air frying generally uses significantly less fat while still delivering satisfying texture and flavor.
Simple, quick, and versatile, this sausage and veggie combination is a dependable go-to meal when you need something wholesome and filling without spending a lot of time in the kitchen.
