Glazed Chocolate Donuts

Bakery-style chocolate donuts are one of those treats people happily line up for, but they’re surprisingly easy to make at home. These glazed chocolate donuts are soft, moist, and dipped in a sweet glaze that sets into a delicate crackly finish.

Creating the perfect chocolate cake donut means balancing rich cocoa flavor with a tender, fluffy crumb. Even the test batches are hard to resist, but this version delivers that classic texture and deep chocolate taste every time.

The donuts bake up like a light chocolate cake, yet the familiar ring shape makes them feel extra fun and perfect for breakfast or snacking. Once dipped in glaze, they develop that shiny, slightly crisp coating you’d expect from a donut shop.

This recipe is simple and beginner-friendly, with no mixer required and less than 20 minutes from start to finish. They’re ideal for a quick treat, weekend brunch, or an easy after-school snack everyone will love.
