Easy Instant Pot chicken recipes are perfect for busy weeknights, and this Instant Pot Honey Garlic Chicken is packed with bold sweet and savory flavor. Inspired by Chinese style takeout dishes, it combines rich honey and garlic for a sauce that is both comforting and irresistible.

One of the best parts about this recipe is how quick and simple it is to prepare. Using the Instant Pot helps the chicken cook quickly while locking in flavor and keeping the meat tender and juicy.
The process is incredibly straightforward. First, mix together the honey garlic sauce and pour it over the chicken before pressure cooking for about 20 minutes.
Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the pot and allow the sauce to thicken. This step creates a glossy, flavorful coating that brings the entire dish together.
After that, slice or shred the chicken and toss it back into the thickened sauce so every piece is fully coated. The result is tender chicken covered in a rich honey garlic glaze.
Serve the chicken over warm rice and finish it with sesame seeds and chopped green onions for extra flavor and texture. It is a delicious homemade meal that comes together faster than ordering takeout.
