- The seasoning for roasted okra
This recipe uses paprika, garlic powder, and salt to season the okra. Another seasoning that works very well is berbere, which is a flavorful spice blend. If you choose to use it, substitute ½ teaspoon of berbere seasoning for the paprika. You can also add about ⅛ teaspoon of cayenne pepper if you want a little heat.
