Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups cooked rice
  • 2 cups milk, divided
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ⅔ cup golden raisins (Optional)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • ⅓ cup white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

    1. Place cooked rice in a medium saucepan. Add 1 1/2 cups milk and salt; cook and stir until thick and creamy, 15 to 20 minutes.
